Pro tools and pro products that you will you will love. When I went to makeup school (11 years ago - omg 😮) I literally tossed away everything that came in my school kit, and threw down another couple grand to get products I would love working with. That is why I have worked so hard to curate the kits for our Kensington Makeup Academy Students. Our Makeup Essential Program (non-certification) will go over all the technical aspects of a basic makeup application. 36 hours of live hands on instruction held at our academy studio located in Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall.

Who is this course for?
The makeup enthusiast looking to better understand makeup theory for personal applications or just for fun with friends. If you are interested in possibly starting a career in makeup, but are unsure if it is for you - this course is great for dipping your toe in to see what it is all about. AND if you decide you love it, and would like to continue the journey, you are welcome to register for the remaining course hours to complete the certification.

Total Course Cost NOW $999

One of the valuable things that our instructor @elysemichelle_mua teaches in our basic makeup course is set etiquette. When you are working on set you first want to see how the images are reading on camera. If something isn’t looking just right, as the makeup artist, you notify the photographer that you are going to be “stepping in” to make an adjustment. it is important to be prepared for anything. We guide our students on what to include in their set bag to be prepared and professional.

We are so overwhelmed by the response in enrollment, that we have completely SOLD OUT of all our 2018 certification courses. We are working hard to open up more certification courses and will announce our 2019 schedule soon. In the meantime- we are still offering our 36 hours Essentials makeup course that builds into the 60 and 120 certification course. You can still register for this course, and for the inconvenience we have dropped the price to enroll! Please give us a call or shoot us an email if you would like to be on a wait list. ❤️@hollichris

Happy Sunday Funday everyone! As you know yesterday we had lab from 12:00PM-5:00PM. We cannot say enough incredible things about our students. Although we believe in them from day one, they continue to surprise themselves with the growth/success through the knowledge we instill. We truly value them and giving back to aspiring/growing/ and established makeup artists.
